Last day

Today we said goodbye to our friends at Los Cardones and went to the Masaya market. It is a really  amazing market that is situated in what looks like a castle. The girls were able to practice their spanish as they bought gifts for family and friends. We then headed to Granada. What a great town. So very quaint and colorful. We had a walking tour where we learned about the history of Granada and then had dinner at Don Luca Pizzeria where we ate delicious wood oven pizza and had Nicaraguan cake and ice cream for Vanessa’s birthday. What fun. wpid-20130708_184435.jpgwpid-20130708_184857.jpg
As the trip is coming to a close, Katie and Gaby led the girls in a few wonderful activities that served to culminate the experience.

I know the girls have had an amazing time here in Nicaragua and are anxious to get home and share their experiences with family and friends. Thank you for all your love and support. We are so happy to be able to share our journey with you. As chaperones of this incredible trip, we look forward to seeing your amazing daughters fulfill their action plans they created on this trip.
