We made it!

After a slight detour to Nogales, Arizona, and traveling through mist and drizzle we made it to beautiful Windsong.

We were greeted by our facilitators, Kate and Nicole and had a brief tour of the facilities. We all learned how to use the compost toilet, as Windsong is very proactive in being sustainable. Those buildings outside the house were built with alternative materials. It is going to be fun learning all about Windsong and what they do here. So much to learn!

After our tour, we had the most delicious dinner- a taco bar with fresh veggies from the garden and homemade beans.  I can honestly say that I was in heaven! I don’t think we will go hungry here 🙂

Alex and I took a peak at the bathtub while the girls were busy- boy is it a 70’s beauty! I just LOVE the chandelier and wish I could take a soak!

We will be experiencing life on the ranch tomorrow so check back and we will be keeping you posted…… Until then….
